Education is a cornerstone of ending homelessness. Horace Mann, a pioneer of American public schools in the 19th century, famously called education the “great equalizer of the conditions of men….”
Bridge Kids are going to school! They, fortunately, are being sent back in style. Backpacks full of paper and pens and hope of fun and friends.
We also recognize another return to school. One Bridge mom, who since graduating from high school, has worked in prostitution to provide for herself and her children. She, too, is entering school hoping for a new future. She dares to enter vocational training. She embodies the courage to begin the path of entering a career that will sustain her family as a single parent.
The choices she is making today are changing her family’s trajectory. She is nervous, but the gratitude she is feeling far surpasses the feelings of fear of failing.
You provide the platform for mothers to change their and their children’s lives.
Thank you for your support for The Bridge to Hope.

What does “freedom” mean to our Bridge moms?
What does “freedom” mean to our Bridge moms? For many of our Bridge moms, it's hard to grasp what it means to live in freedom. So long, strongholds attempted to snuff out God's provision by trapping them in the bondage of addiction, abuse, homelessness, and broken...
