We have much to celebrate this month. We say we, for it is because of you, our faith community, that mothers have a platform to embrace a life of faith and recovery!
We want to spotlight three celebrations that you make possible.
The Lord invites us to live day by day; those days turn into weeks, which turn into years. He invites us to live in His will, where we will find joy and peace. We have two mothers who embraced this truth and are learning to live this truth through their mentoring and love received from Bethany Bible Church and La Casa de Cristo Church. These faith communities can celebrate along with their Bridge mothers their 1 year sobriety anniversaries. Not only are they building a foundation for their future, but they are also renewing and restoring relationships. Primarily being the mothers, the Lord called them to be.
One of our Bridge graduates is celebrating her 19th anniversary of sobriety. Long-term recovery is built with a daily commitment, endurance, and strength, which beautifully shows through this graduate her faithful and infectious relationship with the Lord. We praise the Lord for April and her commitment to God and self and her faith community, First Southern Baptist Church of Scottsdale, that walked with her in those early years.
Each day of recovery is a worthy celebration. But as those days turn into years, it is even a more significant time of celebration because it lets us know that our mentoring and encouragement have brought success, not only for one mother but also as a testament of faith for newcomers in sobriety.
Our Bridge moms have had the opportunity to be in The Bridge to Hope because of you; they continue in their life of recovery. They are building their lives on the expectations of becoming and doing great things and living for the purpose they were created.
We are thankful for each of you who give, pray and participate. Thank you for encouraging each Bridge mother to go forward in their lives with Christ as their guide. If you would like to learn more, join us at our Open House today, 10 AM-Noon, Saturday, October 23, 2021
