Kaylea’s story is one of heartbreak, survival, and—thanks to God’s grace and your support—radical transformation.
In her own words, when asked what brought her shame during her addiction, she didn’t hold back:
“Yes. The using. Stripping. Prostituting. Fighting people. Stealing. Abandoning my family.”
That’s real. That’s raw. And that was before.
Today, Kaylea is enrolled in cybersecurity training. She’s rebuilding her life, preparing for a professional career that will allow her to support her family with dignity and strength. She’s not just surviving—she’s rising.
When Kaylea came to The Bridge, she wasn’t just looking for a place to stay—she was desperate for a way forward.
“The most important thing I want from The Bridge is stability and support as I learn how to gain my own stability for me and my daughters—to be around people who live for Christ and show me how to better do so.”
That’s exactly what she’s found:
- Faith in her abilities and purpose
- Direction where there was once confusion
- Discipline to walk out the hard work of healing
And she’s not doing it alone.
She’s doing it because people like you made room for her.
Your generosity makes The Bridge possible.
You help provide not just shelter, but a home and hope, education, mentorship, and a community centered on Christ. You’re helping rewrite stories. You’re helping raise up moms who will change the future for their children.
Want to be part of it?
We need people like you to help us continue this work:
- Give — Your donations fuel life transformation every single day.
- Volunteer — Share your time, your wisdom, your presence.
- Pray — Cover our moms, our team, and this ministry in prayer.
Because of your support, Kaylea’s past no longer has the final word—and her daughters are now witnessing what redemption looks like.
This is how homelessness ends.
One family at a time. One mom at a time.
