December 2021

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Ecclesiastes 3:11

We witness the beauty each day at The Bridge to Hope. We stand with you as you share your hope and love in Christ in transforming the lives of mothers that have seen the harder side of life. Together we share this hope and love with the homeless moms who trust The Bridge to Hope to guide them.

Thank you for choosing to support the ministry of The Bridge to Hope. You enable young mothers to get off the streets, get back on their feet and have a stable, safe home for themselves and their children.

At the closing of this year, we look back at a few of our Bridge families and rejoice in all God has restored through you.

Ashley entered the end of November 2020 after being in several housing programs throughout the years. Since then, she completed Medical Assistant Vocational training and was hired where she completed her externship. Engaging in the dignity of work is a gift. Her greatest gift in 2021 was her young daughter being restored to her care following a guardianship. Because of Ashley’s commitment to recovery, employment, and her faith in a future free from addiction, her daughter started kindergarten in her new home!

Amberlee obtained her GED in November. She had completed the 8th grade prior to entering The Bridge to Hope. I want you to consider this, upon entering The Bridge to Hope she had an 8th grade education.  Could you imagine providing for a child with only an 8th grade education?  In December she began Vocational Training.  She is a young mother that today loves learning! She is showing her young son the importance of education and hard work…and doing it with joy!

Angela, lost in her addiction for 18 years and homeless for 8 of those years, came to The Bridge to Hope with her infant son. She believed she could never have children, but the Lord blessed her with a beautiful son, Sol. She is an amazing mother living a life for her son and learning to live life for herself. She is attending training to become a Medical Administrative Assistant.

Rochelle fought hard for her sobriety and her son. She entered The Bridge to Hope for the sole purpose of having her son returned to her from the foster care system. She has received both the gift of sobriety and the gift of her son.  She also chose the gift of baptism at her sponsoring church, The Bridge Church, where she also dedicated her son to being raised in the faith.

The Bridge to Hope community grew this past year as we welcomed The Bridge Church. Because of this faith community’s willingness to create a mentoring team, Rochelle, a young mother, was moved into her home at The Bridge to Hope. They were part of God’s plan to provide a safe home for Rochelle’s infant son to return to her from foster care.  We are grateful to all the faith community who work alongside The Bridge to Hope in providing a home to a mother in crisis.

At The Journey to Hope, we celebrate the long-term impact The Bridge to Hope has. Rochelle entered with her three young sons in foster care after being released from prison in 2009. Today she is in a management position with a local treatment center for those seeking recovery. She is a homeowner and living her life for Christ.

The Bridge to Hope could not reach the mothers without volunteers willing to give of their time to the ministry of The Bridge to Hope. In 2021 we welcomed 13 new volunteers!

Please consider making a year end gift to The Bridge to Hope.

Your impact of giving to The Bridge to Hope offers hope and a home to homeless singles mothers, and children this year.

The Bridge to Hope is also a qualified charitable organization to receive your Tax Credit monies. Tell the State of Arizona you want to provide Hope and a Home for a mother in crisis, direct your tax dollars to The Bridge to Hope.
